Current developments

Hawick and Jedburgh

We are also on-site in Jedburgh and Hawick with an innovative project to turn underused garages into one and two-bedroom homes, allowing us to make use of land we already own to offer accessible housing options to those who need them, in the heart of the community. The use of existing structures again minimises waste.

Modern bungalows, with a path and a small patch of grass in front. Blue sky.

Howdenburn, Jedburgh

Work is underway to deliver 70 homes on the site of the former Howdenburn Primary School, in partnership with Cruden Homes.

Upcoming projects

Linglie road
  • Linglie Road – 26 homes for a range of household sizes on the edge of Selkirk.  Following consultation with the local community the design was revised and submitted to SBC for planning approval in August 2024. (See artist's impression on the right).
  • Heather Mill, Selkirk - SBHA now owns this site and will soon work on proposals to bring forward to a public consultation in 2025.
