Find a Home

We operate a “Choice Based Lettings” scheme which offers people who want to rent a property more choice over the type of home and area they live in. All of our homes which are available to rent are advertised online each week through Housing Online. If you are not able to get online we can arrange to send a paper copy of the list to you.

Properties available for rent are advertised on a weekly basis online. Once you have registered you can bid for up to 5 properties per week.

Property adverts are available from 12 noon every Monday.

Please note, viewing of advertised properties is not permitted without prior arrangement with SBHA.

Health Assessment forms

Mid-market rent

Mid-market rent (MMR) is a form of affordable housing. Tenants generally pay a lower rate than renting privately, but more than for local social housing. Starting rents for new MMR homes are often similar to the Local Housing Allowance. This might be a more suitable option for people who would struggle to rent privately or buy their own home.
