SBHA’s AGM celebrates 20 years

SBHA held its Annual General Meeting recently, and marked 20 years since the Association was first created.

Chair Robin Hill welcomed everyone, with a special mention for former Chief Executive Janice Cambridge, and founding Board Members Ian McDonald and Marlen Jones, who were all in attendance.

The Chair reflected on SBHA’s growth, development and achievements over the years, before handing over to Chief Executive Julia Mulloy, who introduced a 20th Anniversary film featuring SBHA Team members and SBTO Chair Gordon Saunders.

The presentation of the Accounts by Director of Finance Carly Stewart included a look back at the finances of 2023, illustrating SBHA’s financial growth over the years.

Mr Anthony Burnette was nominated as a new Tenant Board Member, while Matt Foreman was nominated as non-Tenant member. As the number of elected vacancies was greater than the number of candidates both were duly elected. At the Board meeting following the AGM, Board members co-opted Mr Kenny Simpson onto the Board of Management.
