SBHA attends launch of CashBack for Communities in Burnfoot

Last Friday, SBHA was delighted to attend the launch of the new CashBack for Communities programme in Burnfoot, which will offer a wide range of free activities and opportunities for young people aged 10 to 18.
The event was extremely well attended and created a real buzz within the community, with young people and families learning more about the activities and support available. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for the programme and the positive opportunities it will bring to Burnfoot and the wider Hawick area over the coming year.
Once registered, young people can access a variety of free sessions including sports, youth work, streetwork and other engaging activities, all under one membership scheme with no booking required.
Activities include:
Burnfoot School Burnfoot Community School
Boxing, Tuesdays, 6pm to 8pm Hawick Boxing Club
G10 Sports, Fridays, 6pm to 8pm G10 Sports
Burnfoot Hub Burnfoot Community Futures
Escape Youth Services Youth Club, Thursdays, 7pm to 9pm Escape Youth Services
SBHA is proud to support initiatives that create positive opportunities for young people and strengthen our communities. The launch event demonstrated the strong partnership working taking place across Burnfoot, and we look forward to seeing local young people benefit from the programme in the months ahead.
