TPAS Annual Conference & National Good Practice Awards 2023
We were delighted to attend the TPAS Annual Conference & National Good Practice Awards 2023 in Clydebank last week.
This year’s conference explored some of the current challenges facing us all, such as the cost of living crisis, energy prices, and the move to Net Zero.
SBHA’s Tenant & Community Engagement Facilitator Louise McNeilage attended the event – she was joined by SBTO Chair Gordon Saunders and Joint Vice-Chair Dominic Brookes (both Tenants). Training and development like this is a benefit of getting involved at SBHA.
Gordon, Dominic and Louise attended some interesting and informative key note speaker sessions, including the Minister for Housing Paul McLennan MSP, plus various workshops over the 3-day event – bringing back suggestions and ideas for SBHA and SBTO.
Michelle McManus (Pop Idol Winner 2003 – the same year SBHA was created) hosted the Awards ceremony on the Thursday evening and treated guests to a fantastic mini concert.
