The SBTO Gardening Competition is back…

We thought we’d plant the seed – The SBTO Gardening Competition is back…

Gifted in gardening? Fancy growing your own food? You might like this. Yes, it’s time to get your gardening gloves on again for SBTO’s Annual Tenant Gardening Competition.

There will be all of the usual categories: Best Container Garden; Best Window Box; Best Amenity Garden; Best Overall Garden; and new for 2022 we’re introducing a category for Best Food Grown in your garden or home.

The winners will each receive a £50 shopping voucher and the Best Overall Garden winner will also be presented with the Eric Kelly Memorial Trophy.

We’re really keen for as many people to get involved in this as possible. Watch out for more details coming soon on our website and social media. For tips on growing your own fruit and veg, as well as recipes and information about local growing projects, go to www.abundantborders.org.uk.

If you’re interested in entering, call us on 01750 724444 or email communications@sbha.org.uk.
