Thank you Julia!

Our former Chief Executive, Julia Mulloy, retired at the end of May. As part of her send-off, colleagues held a bake sale – a fitting choice, as Julia is a keen baker. The bake sale raised £203.40 for Alzheimer Scotland‘s Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre, which supports people living with dementia in the Borders, as well as their families, relatives and friends.

Alongside this, team members also made a separate collection of £125 with Julia’s leaving card in support of Borders Children’s Charity, a volunteer-run organisation helping children and young people across the Scottish Borders by tackling poverty, sickness and distress, and supporting education. It was a lovely way to mark Julia’s retirement and say thank you for everything she has done – including the cake!
