Supporting our communities through lockdown

As part of wider efforts to support Tenants and communities through the current situation with COVID-19 and lockdown, we’ve made our fleet of vehicles available for food and other urgent deliveries.
As well as supporting the Langlee Early Years Centre with food deliveries to local families, we’ve also teamed up with Café Recharge to redistribute surplus food.
SBHA Director of Customer Services Henry Coyle says: “We’re proud to be supporting the efforts of local organisations to help get people through these difficult times.
“As a social landlord, we are acutely aware of the impact that the coronavirus is having on people, families and wider communities. Since lockdown began, we have contacted more than 4,000 SBHA customers to ensure that appropriate support is in place and we have provided specialist advice on maximising income to 430 Tenants.
“We would encourage people to get in touch with us if they feel that they need support – the sooner we know, the sooner we can help.”
