SBHA holds first in-person AGM in three years

SBHA held its first in-person AGM in three years last Thursday, following two years of online events.

Chair Robin Hill first announced a two-minute silence to mark the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, before welcoming guests with a short introductory speech. He finished by thanking Simon Mountford and Gordon Saunders, who have stepped down from the Board, for their service to the Association. Chief Executive Julia Mulloy gave an overview of the year’s achievements, as well as our plans for the future, introducing SBHA’s new Director of Development Emma Garry.

Head of Support Services Nicola McIlwraith then interviewed Warm and Well Co-ordinator Matt Rorison about his work to help people heat their homes more affordably – work that is becoming ever-more vital as the cost of living continues to rise.

Thank you to all those who joined us.
