Planned upgrades – an update
Due to the restrictions put in place in March, our planned upgrades were suspended.
Now that lockdown is beginning to lift, we are putting plans in place to reintroduce some aspects of this.
If you were due to have upgrades in your home this year, such as a new kitchen or bathroom etc., we will be getting in touch with you to make sure that you are still happy for us to come to your home, as we understand that some people may be anxious about this.
It may still be some time before we are able to carry out the works, but this early-stage planning allows us to ensure that, when we do come to your home, we have the right hygiene and social distancing measures in place to allow work to be carried out while protecting you, and our Teams.
We will provide you with written confirmation well ahead of any work starting, which will also set out exactly how you and the Team members working in your home will be protected. We will also provide you with a hotline number to a member of the team, so that you can call directly if you have any concerns, or if you become unwell.
It is important that you keep us informed if you begin to experience symptoms of coronavirus, so that we can continue to keep Tenants and SBHA Teams safe.
