Looking after yourself and others this Winter

This Winter, more than ever, we need to look out for one another. Look out for your neighbours. Permanently open or closed curtains can be a giveaway that something isn’t right, as can newspapers sticking out of letterboxes for an unusual length of time. If you are worried or concerned about a neighbour, call us on 01750 724444.
If you are interested in registering as a volunteer within your Community Council area, send an email to resilientcommunities@scotborders.gov.uk where you will be directed to your local Resilient Communities Co-ordinator. These groups continue to provide support and assistance within your community.
It’s important to look after yourself as well, and remember we are here to help – our support services can help you with a range of issues.
