Keeping you informed – the Tenant Engagement and Communication Team
As you will have seen from our post earlier this summer, we recently said goodbye to our longstanding Tenant Participation Manager, Alison Notman. Honorary SBTO member Marlen Jones, who worked with Alison for many years to increase opportunities for Tenant participation, comments: “Alison was a cornerstone. She always has time and a smile for everyone. She will be very much missed.”
We recognise that now more than ever, it is very important that we keep you informed and updated on our response to the rapidly changing situation and the services we provide.
We have therefore created a Tenant Engagement and Communication Team who will work together over the next few months to keep you informed. The Team has vast experience in communications and supporting tenants to get involved – and may be familiar faces to you as all are existing team members of SBHA. They will work during the next few months to ensure you receive regular updates on services; work with SBTO and expand ways for you to get involved.
Over the coming weeks and months we will be:
- Supporting SBTO in their consultative and scrutiny role
- Helping new Tenants get online
- Promoting digital and self- service options
- Ensuring your views are heard by carrying out Tenant satisfaction surveys
- Keeping you informed by improving the newsletter and our digital communications
- Supporting engagement in our communities with our teams
Contact the Team: email enquiries@sbha.org.uk or call 01750 724444.

The Team – (l-r) Catherine Beattie, Jen McRobbie and Louise McNeilage.
