Help to get into work – the BEAM project

Are you or anyone in your household over 16 and currently unemployed? Would you like some support to get back into work? The BEAM project could help.

We’ve partnered up with the Wise Group and the other housing associations in the Borders to offer a new service to our Tenants.
The Borders Employment Advice and Mentoring (BEAM) project aims to break down the barriers to employment for 100 tenants or household members of Berwickshire, Eildon, Scottish Borders and Waverley Housing Associations.
BEAM mentors can help you overcome obstacles such as lack of work experience or CV, help you to develop interview skills, work on your confidence issues, and much more!
Mentors can also help participants to access digital search tools and e-learning courses.

If you are interested, please contact your Housing Officer on 01750 724444 or email enquiries@sbha.org.uk
