Helping Tenants to get online – our Digital Champions
Over the past year, being able to get online – whether to communicate with family and friends; to access info or entertainment; or to do an online order – has been more important than ever before. We have been determined to help, and to ensure no-one is left behind.Through the Connecting Scotland programme, our team members have distributed 190 iPads and Chromebooks to Tenants over the past year, to help tackle digital exclusion.
Our trained Digital Champions, like Neighbourhood Housing Officer Rebecca Hilferty have offered support where needed to help people use their new devices.
We have supported a range of Tenants with diverse needs to help them get online, including some of our most vulnerable Tenants who were shielding during the pandemic, and families with young children.
