Grounds maintenance – service update

Being able to get outside is vitally important for health and well-being, mentally and physically.

So we’re delighted to be able to bring you news of the latest step in the re-mobilisation of our grounds maintenance service.

From this week, we will be cutting grass and resuming other grounds maintenance services to the areas around communal blocks.

This will allow our Tenants and families living in these blocks to make use of safe outside space – to back gardens and drying areas, as well as safe communal areas around the blocks.

We’re working closely with Scottish Borders Council and our contractor, idverde, as we plan to restart more areas of the service. At every stage, we will of course be adhering to social distancing guidelines to ensure the safety of Tenants and residents, as well as people working for us.

We look forward to bringing you further updates over the coming days and weeks.
