Fisher Avenue (Hawick)- Halloween Competition

Over the Halloween weekend, Fisher Avenue Tenants & Residents Association in Hawick held a competition in their neighbourhood for SBHA Tenants, Waverley Tenants, and all residents. There were prizes for the best decorated home, best door decoration, best spooky kids costume and a pumpkin carving competition.
Kaye Forsyth, Neighbourhood Housing Officer, and Louise McNeilage, Tenant & Community Engagement Facilitator, were on the judging panel and both were extremely impressed with the brilliant decorations in the street for Halloween. Congratulations to all of the winners and all who entered – your neighbourhood looked super spooky! Well done to the committee for organising such a fun community competition.
If you would like more information on how to set up a local residents’ group in your area, please get in touch with Louise McNeilage on 01750 724444 or contact your area Neighbourhood Housing Officer – https://www.sbha.org.uk/about-sbha/whos-who/community-teams/
