Discretionary Housing Payment – nearly time to reapply!

If you currently receive Discretionary Housing Payment, don’t forget you’ll soon need to reapply to continue to receive this. Scottish Borders Council will shortly be sending out letters to Tenants who are currently in receipt of DHP advising how to claim this for the new financial year.
If you do not currently receive Discretionary Housing Payment, you may be eligible for this if you are receiving Universal Credit or Housing Benefit but need some extra help to meet your housing costs.
