Communication skills sessions at Hawick High School

SBHA – Engaging with Young People in the Scottish Borders!

Recently Louise McNeilage (Tenant & Community Engagement Facilitator) and Carole Pritchard (HR Business Partner) visited Hawick High School – where they ran communication skills workshops during S5 and S6 induction days.
The pupils learned about different types of communication – verbal, non-verbal, written and visual. Then they were tasked with creating a communication and marketing campaign about an everyday object. There were some brilliant and creative pieces of work produced – including TikToks, podcasts and posters.
Thank you for inviting us along Hawick High School.
