Come & Try Bowls Event in Hawick

Try Bowls – The Sport For All

Last Thursday SBHA and Waverley Housing Tenants took part in a free ‘Come & Try Bowls’ afternoon at Wilton Bowling Club in #Hawick.

This was a brilliant social event where Tenants and the local community met up to chat in relaxed surroundings and everyone had an opportunity to try Bowls.

There were some fun bowling games set up by the club and facilitated by Bowls Scotland National Development Officer Alan McDonald.

We were very lucky with the beautiful sunny weather which really made the day special.

SBHA’s thanks to Waverley Housing, Bowls Scotland and Wilton Bowling Club for hosting this event and inviting us along.
