Calling all Tenants and residents in Langlee
We’re getting in touch with some exciting news for Langlee residents!
Tenants have told us that Langlee is a great place to live – with a really strong sense of community, and lots of people who are keen to work together to make it even better.
We want to help. We know from listening to feedback from people living in Langlee that you want to hear more about any work we’re doing in your area. So, we’re setting up a dedicated Facebook group where we’ll publish details of initiatives taking place, regular updates and ‘what’s on’ information for the area. Like a virtual noticeboard. But it’s also your group – a place for you to share ideas, ask questions and tell us what you think could be done to make things better.
Can you ‘name that group?’ – let us know what you think the Langlee group on Facebook should be called. Please send your suggestions to communications@sbha.org.uk by Tuesday 10th August.
Look out for more details on SBHA’s main Facebook page next week.
For now, we wanted to let you know of a couple of upcoming events:
- On Friday 13th August from 11am to 3pm, SBHA will be providing skips for the use of Langlee residents. There will be four skips, at various locations in upper and lower Langlee. Where do you think would be the most useful spot for these to be? Let us know!
- On Friday 27th August from 11am to 3pm, SBHA team members (including your Neighbourhood Housing Officer Kelly Mitchell), representatives from SBC and local Councillors will be in Langlee to do a litter pick up. Come along and join us and let’s help clear up some of the litter in Langlee! Equipment, PPE, water and a snack will be provided.
