SBHA Inspiring Young People Across the Borders!
One for the last day of term…
Earlier this month, SBHA’s Carole Pritchard (HR Business Partner) and Louise McNeilage (Tenant & Community Engagement Facilitator) were delighted to join Developing the Young Workforce – Borders at Galashiels Academy to deliver fun and interactive communication skills workshops for the new S3 pupils as part of their ‘Meta Skills Morning’.
The sessions, titled ‘Pitch Perfect’, focused on building confidence in presentation skills—creating engaging slides and speaking in front of classmates.
Huge thanks to Susan Wilson from DYW Borders and the fantastic team at Galashiels Academy for inviting us along—it’s always a pleasure to support and empower the next generation!
