Coronavirus – changes to services
You will be aware that things have changed rapidly in Scotland and across the UK over the last few days. On Friday we took the difficult decision to close our offices to the public and are taking further measures today which are:
Repairs & Maintenance Service: From today (Monday) we will be carrying out emergency and urgent repairs and maintenance work only. Any non-essential work will be rescheduled when the Government’s social contact measures are relaxed. This is to stop the potential for spreading of the virus and is for your safety and that of our teams. If you have an appointment booked, we will be in touch with you about this. Our teams will present their SBHA ID badges when visiting and, prior to entering your home, will ask you a few questions to check that everyone is well and it’s safe for them to enter.
Other Services: We are continuing to reduce social contact where we can and providing as many services over the phone as possible. Please do get in touch with us if you have any concerns – our dedicated teams can offer support and advice on a range of issues. Call us on 01750 724444 or email enquiries@sbha.org.uk
Help us help you: Please DO follow the national guidance on social distancing – this could help save lives. If you start to show any symptoms of the coronavirus, please let us know.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation at this time. We are closely monitoring the Government’s emerging advice and reviewing our plans accordingly.
