INFORMATION ON SBHA SERVICES, (AS AT SUNDAY 10TH JANUARY 2010 AT 6.00PM)

All SBHA Area Offices and Head Office are scheduled to be open for business on Monday 11th January, although opening times to the public may vary if there is further snow overnight which requires clearing from doorways etc.

Repairs Service:  SBHA will be operating an Emergencies only Repairs Service until further notice.  Maintenance teams will be focussing on properties where there is no water supply, no heating, burst pipes, no electrical power, or significant water penetration/damage in the house.

Over the weekend, approx. 90 such emergencies have been attended to, but new reports of this type of problem are coming in all the time.  Please do not call again if you have already reported your Emergency repair as this just causes duplication and delays for other Tenants.

Repair works which are not emergencies are being rearranged, and all Tenants who have Repairs appointments due this week will be contacted to arrange a suitable alternative date.  Staff have been allocated the task of contacting all such Tenants, so you do not need to phone in.

SBHA will get to every Tenant who has reported an Emergency as soon as we possibly can.  However, where the access road has not been cleared of snow, it is difficult for our Tradesmen but they are doing their best so we ask that you please be patient.
