SBHA confirms that it is still not possible to provide a Repairs Service or Housing Management Service (allocations, home visits etc) on Thursday 7th January 2010, due to the continuing cold weather emergency. We await progress by the Council and their snow clearance teams to try to make access roads passable into housing estates. This situation is being kept under ongoing review, and the Association is taking measures to ensure Staff can get into work tomorrow (Friday 8th January) provided there is public transport running and it is safe for them to travel. As soon as it is safe to do so, SBHA will restore its Emergency Repairs Service in full, and all Tenants who have an outstanding Routine Repairs appointment will be contacted to arrange a suitable alternative date. Update information will be provided on this Website and on Radio Borders. This news item will be updated at 1.00pm today and at 6.00pm this evening, and formal confirmation of the services to be provided on Friday will be posted here at 8.00am tomorrow morning.
