MESSAGE TO ALL SBHA TENANTS - WEDNESDAY 6TH JANUARY 2010

SBHA confirms that there will be no Repairs Services or Housing Management (allocations, home visits etc) today, Wednesday 6th January 2010, in light of the exceptionally severe weather affecting the Scottish Borders area.  SBHA is complying with the Scottish Borders Council and Police advice, as issued on local Radio, to avoid driving on Borders roads so as to let the gritters and Emergency Service vehicles get on with their work.

This situation will be monitored in regard to SBHA Services on Thursday 7th January.  At the present time, there is a severe weather warning for more snow overnight.

As soon as it is safe to do so, SBHA will restore its Emergency Repairs Service in full, and all Tenants who have an outstanding Routine Repairs appointment will be contacted to arrange a suitable alternative date.
