Award shortlist for inclusive Stonefield development

SBHA has received national recognition for their Stonefield development in Hawick, which created new and refurbished homes, bringing less popular properties back into use. The project was chosen as a finalist in the Inside Housing Development Awards in the category of ‘Best Inclusive Development’.

Julia Mulloy, SBHA Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to receive this recognition from Inside Housing and thank the community in Hawick for their support of this regeneration project, allowing us to transform this part of the town, providing modern, energy efficient and affordable homes for Tenants. SBHA is extremely proud of the partnership working which made this project possible, including our support from The Scottish Government and Scottish Borders Council as well as the development teams – Patience and Highmore, Camerons Architects, Esh Border Construction, James Swinton, Scott Bennett Associates, Wardell Armstrong and local landlords, Eildon Housing Association and Waverley Housing.”
